Private Lesson Policy

If your student is new to private lessons we ask that you prepare the student and be prepared to work with the instructor for at least 3 months.  If after 3 months your student or your instructor feel they are not the right fit, your instructor and the rest of IIM staff will work to find the “right” instructor for your student’s personality.

• We recommend that the student arrives 5 minutes before the scheduled lesson time
• If you are running late, please either text the instructor or call a member of the IIM staff
• If you arrive more than 10 minutes late there is no guarantee that the lesson will take place or be made up
• Cancellations – 24 hours or more WILL BE made up at a time that works for both the instructor and the student.
• Same day cancellation make ups will be at the discretion of the instructor and are not guaranteed
• Payments must be received by the 10th of the month or the second lesson, whichever comes first (if this payment schedule does not work for your budget, please speak to Rick Stevens so we can work out another solution)
• If payment is not received by the second lesson, it will be up to instructor weather or not the lesson proceeds
• Instructors must be notified 30 days prior ending lessons
• If there is a rate increase, students and/or student’s family (if under 18) will be notified at least sixty (60) days prior to the rate increase
