New Year, New Offerings–Private Lessons, Recording Begins and Anwar Curtis

Immersed in Music is taking a two week break for the holidays, but next week, we reopen with some exciting additions!

First of all, IIM will begin offering private lessons in vocals, guitar and bass beginning on January 15. Lessons will take place during regular hours on Mondays and Tuesdays between 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Anyone interested in signing up should contact Rick Batley at 717-592-0138.

Our recording schedule also gets underway in January, with Lemonade heading to the Greenhouse Studio in Hummelstown on January 8. They will be recording basic tracks for 3 songs during the first week on Monday-Thursday. Other Rockers bands will follow on a weekly basis throughout January and February. They will all return in March to record vocals and additional tracks, finishing their recording experience by helping with the mixing process.

And finally, we want to welcome Anwar Curtis to IIM. Anwar is a self taught keyboardist, who has also worked with producing shows in the Harrisburg and Philadelphia areas, as well as doing rhythm programming in both live and recording formats. Anwar will be helping with our Young Rockers and Rockers Prep bands.
