First Orientation Night and There’s Still Time To Enroll

Immersed In Music staff held the first Orientation of the 2018-19 year on Tuesday and welcomed new and returning students into the program. It was a chance to reminisce about how much fun everyone had during last year’s live shows and recording studio experiences, as well as laugh about the challenges and rewards everyone had during their band rehearsals.

If you’re still deciding what courses and/or classes you want to explore this year, check out for complete descriptions of our Young Rockers, Advanced Young Rockers, Rockers Prep, Rockers, Sound Engineering, and Video Productions courses, along with our Songwriting, Live Sound Engineering, and Music Theory classes. Studio Engineering classes, which include hands-on work in a real recording studio, will happen January-April 2019. This year, IIM is also offering individual lessons for vocals, guitar, bass, and keyboards.

A second Orientation night will be held on Monday, August 20th at 6:00 p.m. at The Londonderry School, 1800 Bamberger Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17110.  Sign up online, or print the registration forms on our website and bring them with a check for the associated Materials Fee and first month’s payment to the Orientation on August 20.
